Description - JITO Visakhapatnam chapter organised a Zonal Box cricket tournament on 22nd & 23rd February, 2025 at Visakhapatnam in which 8 teams from TNAPTS zone participated. Teams from Chennai, Guntur, Hyderabad, Vijayawada & Visakhapatnam played against each other. Abhinandan Chargers from Hyderabad emerged as winners of the tournament by beating Namma Chennai Kings from Chennai in the finals.

The two day event was full of sports & entertainment wherein a platform was provided to players to showcase their talents. The idea behind the tournament was to strengthen the connections amongst the chapters & boost visibility. 

The winning trophy was presented by the Chapter Chairman Shri. Gautam Parakh & the final closing remarks were given by the Chief Secretary Shri. Nikesh Jain. The closing ceremony was conducted in the presence of Shri. Nirmal Dugar – Director Apex, Shri. Vikram Shah – TNAPTS Zone Vice Chairman, Shri. Subodh Rakechha – Chapter Founder Chairman & Shri. Ashish Dhariwal – Past Chairman.

All the participating teams appreciated the efforts of the Visakhapatnam sports committee for their hospitality & smooth conduct of the tournament. Members part of the sports committee were Jash Shah – sports convener, Paras Banthia – co convener & other members – Santosh Hirawat, Chiranjeevi Golechha, Nikhil Jain, Vivek Jain, Saahil Jain, Pawan Doshi, Ashok bhaiya, Rajvee Jain, Peyus Banthia & Alekhya Kundalia.
