The event was started with the recital of Navkar Mantra. The welcome speech was given by the chapter chairman Shri. Gautam Parakh. JPF convener Shri. Chiranjeevi Jain introduced the speaker Shri. CA. TSS Vinay to the audience.
The Session was in 2 parts, in the first part the Speaker CA. TSS Vinay updated the members on the applicability & scenarios where PMLA can get attracted. He also mentioned on the Interplay between PMLA & BMA (Black Money Act). He updated the members on the rights / safeguards which an individual has under PMLA and the Appellate remedies available. In the second part, he made a comparison of the important changes in the Budget in Income Tax with the previous year. The session ended with Q&A. Vote of Thanks was given by the Chief Secretary Shri.
